wrote on July 22, 2022 at 5:40 pm: This place is absolutely wonderful. We first found camp bearpath on our summer vacation 2 years ago when we had to leave our original camp. Luckily we were able to get in here and we’ve been back every year since. We’ve even booked a long weekend for the fall. The location is perfect, being just outside of old forge and the water park. The cabin is clean and there’s plenty of room for a multi family vacation. We loved the beach and the fishing was perfect. We are planning on coming up again next summer and keeping this tradition going for many years.

If you have little ones be sure to check out the beach across the street after your morning hike for a refreshing swim and relaxation. We couldn't have asked for a better get away spot. Sign up and don't skip any of the many hiking and biking trails nearby.

We were very comfortable with the cleanliness even during this covid hovering out there.. beautiful private beach and dock. Plenty of room for a large group. Just a great place. Thank you. Felt like home.

wrote on October 29, 2019 at 9:08 pm: This place is absolutely beautiful. It was spotless clean. All we needed was sheets and towels everything else was there. The Kitchen had everything we needed and even a gas grill on the deck. The fire pit in the back has plenty of sitting room. It is just a few miles from town, which was great. We will definitely stay here again.

It provides an Adirondack motif without all the knickknacks which was great because we have small children. Being back off the main road was ideal for the kids while still being a short walk to a beach.
wrote on August 19, 2019 at 4:00 pm: What a wonderful week long family vacation at Camp Bear Path! We stayed the last week of June with our family. The cabin was beautiful kept and very clean. The kids loved the bunk beds and the living room had plenty of seating. The cabin location is very private and off the main road, which was great for our small kids with bikes. Enjoyed our stay very much and would highly recommend it!

The kids loved playing on the beach which was just a short walk. The camp is beautifully done and was very clean and well maintained. Rob, the owner, communicates promptly and is easy to work with. We may very well book again in the future. Highly recommend.

wrote on July 2, 2019 at 2:28 pm: We took our first trip as a family of 4 to Old Forge and stayed at Camp Bear Path - it more than exceeded our expectations!! The home was immaculately clean in every room and the kitchen had everything you could need to prepare meals. The living room and kitchen were so open and spacious, perfect for our 1 and 4 year olds to play and run around. The views are great, it's nice and private without being too remote. We had an absolutely fantastic week and couldn't have been happier with the camp - we already can't wait to come back! Also, having laundry was a HUGE perk!!! Thank you!!

Communicating with the owner and his wife before, during and after was great. They were extremely helpful and informative. Absolutely great place. Close to town. Deer and raccoons visit daily at the cabin too. Will absolutely stay again.

The cabin is beautiful, everything is up to date and the owner was so friendly and helpful. Our 3 year old loved being so close to the beach every day. We brought our boat along and had a fabulous time. Perfect location and amazing house.
